      Short version: Precision Buttons does not collect, store, or transmit any
      personal data. There are no accounts, no analytics, no ads, and no network connections. Everything
      you configure stays on your device.
    

Information we collect

None. The app does not collect, request, or transmit any personal or sensitive user data. It has no internet permission and makes no network requests.

Data stored on your device

Your button profiles — their positions, sizes, colors, labels, and the on-screen tap coordinates you set — are saved locally in the app's private storage on your device only. This data never leaves your device and is removed when you uninstall the app.

Accessibility Service

Precision Buttons uses Android's Accessibility Service for a single purpose: to perform tap gestures at the screen positions you configure, so your floating buttons can tap other apps.

It does not read the content of your screen. The service is declared with canRetrieveWindowContent="false" and does not process accessibility events.
It does not act on its own. A tap only happens when you press one of your buttons.
It does not collect, store, or share any data obtained through the Accessibility API.

Permissions

Accessibility Service — to perform the taps you configure (see above).
Display over other apps — to draw your floating buttons on top of other apps.
Foreground service & notifications — to keep your buttons available while you use other apps, with a persistent notification as required by Android.
Vibrate — optional haptic feedback when a button is tapped.

Third parties

The app contains no third-party SDKs, advertising, analytics, or tracking libraries.

Children's privacy

The app does not collect any data from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
